Title: NMDC for MAC
Post by: Smurv on 20 April, 2005, 20:31:17
I want to allow using NMDC for MAC Computers on hub. But i dont know how. Im using Ptokax 16.09 and Robocop 10.01c. I add NMDC minversion 1.1.0 but it doesnt work :( My user always get this message:

This hub is running PtokaX DC Hub 0.3.3.0 build 16.09 (UpTime: 0 days, 0 hours, 14 minutes)
You are disconnected for using a none regonized client, please download a regular DCPlusPlus client at http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net

Can someone help please?

Anyway, allow non-tagged clients. :)

I have a work around which is ok for me I posted it elswhere but Ill put it here for you. I use latest Ptokax and RC.

For some time now RC has not allowed clients in without a tag. Read back in this thread to see some of the arguments for and against. I do a work around which involves MAC users emailing me before they can get in the hub then I can set them in the immune list of RC so they can get in.
I dont have too many of them so I can keep an eye on them.
Many of the MAC users I talk to long for a decent client they could use but it seems no one is developing one.
Hope that helps
