Title: proxy question
Post by: imby on 06 May, 2005, 21:42:43
I banned the IP range of a DC++ user on a British ISP, and then he signed in on an American one. How did he do this? via proxy? I thought you had to select mode socks5 to use that? any help/info appreciated.

there are more way's 2 do so, but those i'm not gone explain.
this would be welcome info for fakers and other bad users/ppl.
socks5 is just a special type of proxy which supports  username and password.
for these you really need a special setting in dc.
