just a brianstorm
is it prossible to make a script like someone types for example LOL in the mainchat and instead of LOL the person sees javascript:smilie(':D') a happy face
just like the emoticons in msn
i am not good at scripting but it would be a great feature to add in an hub
this is impossible.
I could be done if the dc-client (dc++ or something) would support it, so you have to ask the creators of dc++ to support smilies.
You could use word-replace manager to change it like when you type LOL that it displays ;-) in the mainchat.

could you give a example of what you mean?

if you want smilies install linux + dcgui.

there is a windows version 2, just it has a 30 day trail thx 2 Q.T..
there are some gosips going that QT is gone be changed for something else wich is free.
for mac os there is allready a version wich uses the native gui.
but offcourse you could reinstall windows every month. lol
but the question should be asked on the dcpp forum, arne can add it (if he wants).
for the hub it's totaly useless and just wasting resources.

or simply install dc:pro, for windows of course.
you could do it like plop says and switch back the clock each week so the 30 days will never pass.
