Title: Artifficial Intelligence
Post by: Zimbrul on 31 May, 2005, 00:46:50
is it possible to make a bot that answers intelligently to users? like A.L.I.C.E ( see http://www.pandorabots.com/pandora/talk?botid=f5d922d97e345aa1 )

The code might not be that though , I can see LUA can be quite powerfull , but the structure of the Ai can be quite a challange , it has to answer to multiple keywords in one sentence , and combine them to form answers , different replys and stuff , and also to randomly say something to attract atention...

Thanks , I hope this would make the first A.I script for Ptokax , It would be quite a thing :)

k then , who will try and make it?

I promise that any of you ppl make the code , I will make the keywords and sentences , I mean if you make the bot work , I will teach it to answer to sentences and stuff and make it clever :)

i found 1 of the key routines which are needed in the lua book.
just i would need some more info on how they do this.
they only thing i have now is how 2 make it speak randomly in a pretty decend order of words.
so you get a real kind of sentences.
