I don't really know what the best settings are for inbuild deflood in ptokax.

Are these settings to strict or to soft??(click on image for larger verson) =

14 GetNickLists in one minute is very bad idea... or do you really want to allow 14 userlist refreshes in minute ??? :D

what do you recommend for GetNickLists?

and except for that, is there any other settings which should be changed because its to soft or to strict?

ive said this b4 and ill say it again, the best settings are the default settings, unless u know what ur doing you really shouldnt change that, furthermore dont complain l8r if u get flooded after changing them !

well then thats a unique case, those users seem to be reconnecting too often, or some script that u have is causing it !

They use bad clients :] Btw $GetNickList is needed to send only once on login, nobody need to refresh userlist :P

what does this setting? = Global main chat deflood
does it count how many messages that is sent totally from all users in mainchat under a certain time period?

what does these 3 options do (in Global main chat deflood)?? =
1) Disabled
2) Lock chat
3) Send only to OPs with user IP

Because I don't understand what the third one does + the first and the second looks like to be the same thing for me.

I guess the 1st completely disables that deflood option, the 2nd Locks the chat so no one can use it (for the time you wish), and the third probably just warns the Op's and sends the Ip address of the responsible user... at least thats my interpretation of it :)

indeed, but im unsure about the second one, i think it locks only the "flooder" not the whole chat

1 ) disable this deflood
2 ) lock chat to all (as i write before this flooder use more nicks) i add checkbox for profile later ;)
3 ) send chat only to OPs with IP before it like...
