1. The user NEEDS to re log in to the hub to stop the messages.
2. Sorry m8 Ops will have to have Keys. when i was scripting it i Assumed that ' bOperator ' would be true even without keys But its not. I will make it compatible later .. but theres a lot i need to change :( :(

it only works in conjunction with Ptokax Hub software..
first you need to get the hub from Here (http://www.ptokax.org/) .
set up the hub filling in all the relevent details Leaving these set to 0

most commands work in pm .. just send !help in pm to the bot. ( Carefull you dont Swear at it though ;) )
All the games work in Main chat only .. if they want to get away they can use the reg / vip chat rooms ( If Enabled )
theres a Very good reason why users cant stop hangman. Because i FORGOT to add the command :P :P hehehe
ill fix it when i start again expanding and adding :))

but the min share is set at 1gb and max is set at 2000

your client is not sending $myinfo, i assume your not using standard dc++
all the log in information is collected when the hub recieves $myinfo from the client.. if not recieved it will display the info for the last person that logged in with a good client....

I am a current user of XN server 8.502 , what is the difference between terminator ( btw, u are using TOO much ASCII , calm down man =) ) and XN server , and I hate to say that I am not leaving robocop for nothing , it's incomparable with any other security bots in my oppinion , I used the terminator server on a test hub , and the interface seems a bit brushed up , but nothing seems to be changed since xn webserver.... so practicly you just renamed the project?

try this m8 .. Disable the Triv in Terminator and put TriviaX script in.. re arrange TriviaX so it runs Before Terminator and all should be fine. :)) :))

if only it was as simple as a rename.. the LUA5 versions of XN were rushed to get a working script for the new ptokax.
Terminator has had nearly a full overhaul to make use of faster functions built in to ptokax that were origionally scripted, large use of Tables instead of the old Global Veriables and Much Much more.. including B/W saving by removing compatibility with other scripts..
Everybody is entitled to their own opinions regardin all scripts. Most of us do it simply for FUN and hope that we can Spread that fun though out DC by Sharing what we create.. Wether you use it or not is your choice. :)) :)

sorry m8 .. i cant answer you .. as it is a All-In-One i have neither tested or run it with Robocop and dont intend to.
IF the script conflics with any other None security scripts then i will look in to making it compatible with them .
BUT to have 2 x security/hub controll scripts running at the same time dosnt make any Sence.

shut my test hub down last night after fixing this started it up tonight and tried signing in as a reg user
and got that message again not sure what is causing this checked the gui settings and its set at 1gig and then clicked save and restarted the scripts same problem remove the script and the hub is fine Please help

Because its a different script and NOT just renamed like YOU said in an earlier post and when ur using Terminator you dont have to use 2 security bots there is no need!! There is Full security in Terminator

I dont think you understood me right.. i didnt said the script causes me memory problems.. i just pointed out the fact that it consumes way to much memory when i run it on my hub wich only has about 40-60 users regulary...

Ive been running the script for a long time. I cant see where its consuming much memory for me at all. I also have a few other scripts running with it..

Sorry i just assumed with your first post that youd tried it on a Large hub..
yes it would be nice to see what it runs like on a big hub . but the UK dosnt offer fast enough ISP's yet for me to try it ..
Running on my hub with the UserInfo logs cleared it uses 1.8mb with 70 - 90 users which i dont think is too bad for a script with all these options.
However the memory usage will jump higher when trivia is running because it loads a 1.7 mb question file for the duration of the game.

i was thinking more like when u type inn teh command and the user is not online u will get a message like this or somethin; user is currently offline and was last seen leaving the hub at 6:41:pm

Hi Hawk great script and even figured out what i was doing wrong before. But i have a question i have MAC users that the clients do not have a tag line and cant get in even if i have the boxed checked or unchecked under other clients any ideas how i can fix this

I also tried it and my MAC users reported the same. The error message being they had no tag even though I had ticked the box to allow them in.

you shouldnt see the command come up m8 .. if you are doing its because you have another script running that is sending it there ..
the command works fine in all the hubs im in running Terminator

Hi there SAS if u go to ure right click then security thengo to users.. second from bottom it will say leave offline message u just put the persons nicname in then the message u want to leave :D
it worked but its on the top of everything, and ppl don scroll up to see that.
It would have been better if it was popping up in a PM when the user logs on
yeah it does show you in main chat that you have set the offline messege this is to show you the command ect you used but when the user comes into the hub it pops up a pm to them with the messege you left :-)

You have got the random Intro/Outro enabled BUT it can find them..
Check your GUI settings ( Outro Table )...
Also you are running an Out dated Version.

The cleaner has been called. Every registered user who hasn't been in the hub for 7 days will be deleted. (contact the OP's if your going to be away for a period longer than that)

Type !help for a list of commands.. the one to add reg users is.. !reguser [nick]

Only vips will ever get that message..
load up the GUI goto security. click the Misc 1 tab
and tick the box " Vip's can reg users "
save and exit the GUI and restart scripts... :)) :))

I'm really upset with numgame,i think it's banal and causes all users to use it as it's simple to answer and make thousands of points.There is no option to disable it etc.
Hawk could you make that part of quiz disappear in next release or make option to disable numgame or only op control i noticed it's integrated with quiz. May be getting rid of it will mean less work than implemending 2 extra commands?

I know the !mass command sends it to the bot but im sure most users ignore it
I want them to know im sending them the message so they have no excuse if they break them

when i write an offline message to a person it appears first, infront of everything so no-one sees them

Try sending MOTD to pm, i cant controll when that is sent.
ALL commands will be editable through the Commands Language file.. :))

i will add the option for the hub owner to be able to manually set them for VIPS and REG users.
you could Give them a Custom Description...
right click on the user goto Fun/Description/ON and type your message in there ... ( could take up to 5 mins to show )

I wanted to warn you about running a phpBB based site, but seems I was late. Try some other projects like e107 or phpnuke. e107 0.6171 is quite secure AFAIK.
i really hope this is not the end of the terminator script, its the best script i have ever used, and Hawk has been so nice when it comes to requests and updates.

i have added an option of a Normal text clock Insted of the Ascii clock..
Also im nearly finished on the Language file.. Although it will all be in english so will need converting by someone who is able.

there will be 2 files .. the one your workin with now has been Expanded so has a lot more to it and the other file is Purely for the commands and the relevent Texts within that command

There is no special requrements BUT try keep the file name short eg. 3 or 4 letters
German -- GER.txt

its only a small box on the GUI to type it in ;)

running this soft creates enormus lag in the hub..i got 1mbit up and with 200 users it lags even then

using robo and a seperate trivia..i can run it with 400+ and no lag at all

I got few ops complaining that new wersion of dcdm is being disconected by terminator i tryed setting it up to min 0.0 o.00001 doesn't help. Only when checked disable op checks worked but this doesn't solve the problem i think?

Pls ask your Ops using DCDM NOT to use the right click commands.. they will be disconnected for flooding.
the Problem is with DCDM Adding and Extra Pipe to the Right click commands when it recieves them from the script..
Blame the DEVS of DCDM for wanting to be Different. I will try find a Work around for this later..

Is it only me? When I send rightclicks with LawMaker, it all works fine with DCDM++. Please post an example raw you send, if the General Compilers' license won't get violated by it.

they are being kicked for version too old!
This only applies to lates dcdm released recently - there were no probs with previous version.
I noticed this when in terminator gui dcdm min ver was set to 0.030 ops were getting this:
disconnected the version u r using dcdm++ 0.0300 is to old please update +link to webside
then
i changed dcdm min ver in trm gui to 0.010
they get this :
disconnecter the version of dcdm++ 0.010 is too old
looks like version changes

SAS.. Can you please tell me which clients are gettin in your hub that you have disallowed in the Termy GUI..
if their not listed then i need to add the support to the script
In the terminator software on the security under clients i have disallowed every client exept: DC++, NMDC2, ODC, CZDC, DCDM, Revconnect and RMDC. and it dosent even check the version number. i got ppl with dc++ 0.403 and i have set the min. version to 0.668. alos i ge ppl with stealth dc that i dont want in and it dosent seem to block them.

ill have a look at the dc++ ver check but as far as im aware it works fine.
ill edit this post in a moment with my findings
the stealth client cannot be picked up by script ( Unless the user dosnt know how to set it up )
Use another client to detect it ... DCDM or something similar..

Hi there peeps...Can't wait for the latest script (Ver 6) to be released...i aint had any probs at all with disallowed clients that i have set....but as said before if stealth dc is setup properly it will not be detected within the script but if you or your ops are using an ops client it does detect it...shows up in the users info..:-))
well the user who is using stelth DC hasnt coverd it up
in his client descriptions it says stealth
if i knew how to set in a pic here i would showed u the settings
Edit: and i got some users using strong DC that isnt blocked out either
Strange the as i have it blocked and i cant get in my hub with strong dc++ as a users as have tested it a few times to make sure all is working ok....it is ticked to allow and un-ticked to disallow clients in the gui....you prob will know that anyways but i aint had any problems at all.... ?(
one of my users was kicked and banned after using the !showreg function, he only used it once and this is what it said in ptokax:

Hey SaS can u tell me what client that user was using when that flood happened? As im doing a test in my hub with every single client thats in the script to see what i can come up with..

Ok this is what i think. I think that user is using a hacked client. I have a live test hub so anyone can come in with any clients so its good for testing. The emulater bit in some of these clients is too ease just to put in wot u want so it may say 6.74 but it isnt. So ask him if its really wot hes using cause nothing is showing up with that client and im using it. Your very welcome to come into my hub and test too :P

Hi SaS the reason for this message is that it shows ops what users were last kicked for so that they can go to this share and check to make sure all is ok with them. You can clear All the kick messages by clearing the kick logs after u checked the users -- Security/Maintenance/clear kick logs so you dont have to remove each one individually using the remove from kick warnings unless u want to ...both work :P
is it possible to get a high scor lsit on the card game?

To get the scores its -ngscores and Yep sas Hawk is gonna add it to the next update in the main -scores display in 6.1 just for you :P :P

If Users are using the emulator bit on the strong dc client then yeh they will get in your hub they'll get in any hub because the emulation bit means they can change their settings and have the option to display wotever client they want u to see...a choice of 3 clients for now. A hub script can ONLY detect what the client wants it to see. so if the client is Emulating another client the script will see the emulation of the Client ONLY.. :P

I don't use StrongDC++ and I can't found this small bug :P
Great release - so far I can't complain all works nice here.
However there is a conflict between Terminator and google bot in order to get google bot to work terminator must be disabled otherwise release-google bot does'n wort.
I really would like to have both scripts runing is there a way to overcome this?
is it possible to edit the fresh stuff by editing the .txt files in the scripts folder?
Nar SaS your best to use the right click and even get the commands if your not sure.. its very easy without going into the text files :P :P

OK you right click fun/fresh stuff/commands:-
!adds [THESTUFF] Lets you add FreshStuff.
!dels [ITEM]/[ITEMNR.] Lets you delete an item.
then you can fix what you want
theres also commands for show, rate and request. :]
You cant edit anyone elses only delete them

Yes you can edit them in the text files but just edit what they wrote not the name/ or the date. Edit the bit in the fresh stuff file then restart scripts :] :]

When playing trivia no scores are saved when the game ends. Running PtokaX 0.3.3.21 [debug] with Robocop v10.01e.
And could I cast my vote in favour of the old format for trivia/anagrams without causing offence?

Terminator is no longer compatible with robocop it was too dificult to try keep compatibility without seeing the robo Code.. :(

Coul You make numgame for ops only control and disable numgame options also separate scores for numgame?

1. Robo is no swear word.. it is in fact one of the most configurable Security/ hub control scripts out there ...
Terminator is aimed more at fun and hub aesthetics.. although the security and hub controll is built in most of it is hard set in the script allowing for the minimum of settings..
2. mswinsck.ocx is installed with the full install .. pls re install .. ( maby it is an OS issue ) i run Win XP
3. terminator is an All-In-One if you have problems running another script along side it then pls feel free to post your problems here and we'll try find a fix for it

dont know what more to say than i updated to 6.2 and pasted the lines into the xml file and saved it. Restarted my comp and ptokax.
i have it set in the gui to not accept users with strong dc, but they still can enter

In Misc1 there are default 7 days. Is this for the sequence off Terminator to scan, or is it for how many days users hasn?t been in the hub?
I want Terminator to scan for users that hasn?t been in the hub for 30-50 days (depending on season), should I have it ticked and change the number from 7 to 30?

disableling the hint in mathematics dosent do u any good, its so easy to use the calculator in windows to cheat at that game

Reinstall Terminator making sure you are running the Latest 0.3.3.21 version of Ptokax ..
regarding the right click menu we posted here for suggestions on layout but no one responded...

only in Termi is enough.

Set all at 0 in ptokax and use your setting only in Terminator. C ya

Reinstall Terminator making sure you are running the Latest 0.3.3.21 version of Ptokax ..

I have some of the problemes that enigma has, and have talked to Hawk about them and tryed everything he says but can't get it to work.

I also have problem with rightclick and "Refresch userlist", I get disconnected. Regular users, OP's, and Admin get disconnected no matter which klient we are using.
If there are anyone who have had the same problem, please give us a hint how to fix it. It's maybe just something we have to untick or tick.
Or if anyone here want to take some time to dump screenshots on PtokaX and Terminator for me on their own settings...

all the options you are having problems with are running ok in all terminator hubs im in.. It could be the settings on your GUI.
Command Spy Set a bot name for it in Security/Misc 2 and use the right click commands to enable it for you in th hub.
info on log in .. Enable(tick) ' Display User Info On log in " Security/Misc 1
Fresh Stuff is enabled on the GUI's General page and Displays the Last 5 Stuffs added . !freshhelp will give you all commands
Refresh Userlist disconnecting ... check your Ptokax/Deflood Settings
you Ptokax Profiles should be these ONLY and in this Order:-
Master
Operator
VIP
reg
if you have any more profiles then remove them..
For full commands you must be set as Master and have your Exact DC nick set in the Hub Owner box on the GUI.
there will be no update on the script untill PPK releases the next version of Ptokax to the Public..
Terminator Rev 7 will only run on the Next Ptokax Release and it will be a simple Update through the GUI, with a few manual settings contained within the More Settings File.

I get the Command Spy to appere, but it will not respond on the commands that should trigg it.
The other stuff still don't work, all the settings you recommend is set.
I try this way to see if there is anyone that have had the same prob and can sort it out for me...

i really say there is a serious error in it...wen i reg some1, all other users in my hub, tell me tat thy can see wat command i put to reg any1, it reveals the password too.
regarding using of hawk's scripts even i ve been using his script for a year now.

fresh stuff working all right.. i installed the bot again and did the update.
but no userinfo on logon :(

i dont know if there is any issues with Win98se.
the bot is built and tested on WinXP..
have you also tried running the script on its own .. ??
there could be a conflict with another of the scripts running in your hub..

If I have enabled (ticked) "Registered users only" in PtokaX, would this take effect on Terminator, and this is the reason to my problems?

Yes. it is not an error its an automatic feature to eliminate unessasary cpu and b/w usage for Reg only hubs. :)) :))
although most of the security is disabled, i forgot to also disable the sending of those right click commands.. ill fix this for the next update... :rolleyes:

Terminator wont run because of it, I have undone all the recent changes but im still gettin the error, any ideas?

have you added some more triggers to the Text Changer ...
if so make sure they are all layed out in this format:-
["TriggerWord"]="Replacement Text",
a missing comma at the end of one will give you that error...

i don want the tic tac toe bot and play ur cards to be seen in user list and also i have enabled 'userinfo on logon' thn too its not showing me my info on logon. And also can any user change his nick with use of terminator commands ? I don want this change nick command to any profile..

forget abt this, i didint find this commnad yet in this version 7c, but surely had got this command in older versions. Anyways problem occurs by this is tat, my hub operator regs? a new user, thn if that user comes and changes his nick, thn its a gr8 prob to maintain info record of that user, as in my locality we maintain a user information profile based on nicks (i.e. we take info from users like fullname, address, home number etc).

1. tic tac toe bot and play ur cards need to be in the user list as they are PM games and if they were not in the list your client would say " user offline "
2. 'userinfo on logon' will be enabled on reg only hubs on the next update
3. Change nick is limited to VIP and above.. i will add option to disable/enable it for selected profiles.

But i already don want play ur cards and tic tac toe games , means thy r disabled, so wat would any user do it by seeing them in
userlist. thy are of no use in userlist..btw can i disable ( or unreg ) both of these bots ?
and also 1 more thing, see the right click has a 1 line blank in picture attached. Just see the highlighted part in green, tats ur right clicks.

I just did a fresh setup and reg only, disabled the 2 bots in the Terminator GUI saved the Gui and hit restart scripts in ptokax and they where gone. Dunno what is wrong. I suggest do a compleet fresh setup ptokax an terminator. If that doesn't do the trick maybe we should meet in the live chatbox at Hawks site.
