Hi all,
last week I changed provider, new provider works with NAT and router. i opened the right ports in router and firewall. now the strange part...
users can connect and come into the hub, only when i try to connect to my own hub, it says connection refused by target machine....
what am I doing wrong?
thanks in advance
kazi
You should connect to the port you are forwarding to.

this is basically a loopback connection. provide more info and we'll get it sorted. What: firewall(s) are you using? ports have been forwarded? DNS services are employed (if any)?
Think he has outside port 411 but listens on 192.168.x.y:412 for instance.

I use sygate as firewall,
i opened in sygate ports 411 - 413 and 1411 - 1413 + 8268 (port for hub-address)
also on my router I opened these porrts on tcp/udp
i have 3 ips. a 87.xxx.xx.xxx. number (external ip)and 2x my 192.168.x.x. (internal pc IP + router ip)
That is a "problem" with the router. You can't connect if you use (in your client) your hub address (ex: xxxx.no-ip.com), but if you use your internal address (ex: 192.168.1.10), them you can connect. That hapens with some routers (NTech, USRobotics, Asus.. ).
sorry, it is working now :)
thank you so much guys!!
LLB rocks!
