hello ppl, i have a problem
i think that someone is flooding my host s connection
the hub is very slow
and all the commands needs some time to work
when i m trying to ping my hosts IP i m getting 100% lost packets.what that might been ??
and i deas ???
how can i get protection, or how can i spot the flooder ?
?? anyone ?
i have same broblems (slowing) and solved by:
use windows register cleaner (easycleaner)
use ad-aware, scan full
use spybot s&d, scan
Use hijackthis and send its full log to //www.afterdawn.com forum there you get help with that..
use stinger (s-t-i-n-g-e-r) and scan
there are allways bad trojans what can cause thos brops.
the bad shit in this story is that i m not hosting the hub, the hub is on other PC,so it s difficult to check his condition
anyone who knows a script that block pinging ??

no, but you can block ping(ICMP) in your firewall ;)
