Is there a way to ban an IP of a user who is offline? Perhaps I am overlooking something that is very simple. ???

Problem solved. I used the inbuild !banip command. Sorry :-[

In Grimoire v3.1 you use the !ban command followed by ip and reason the same way you would to ban the nick if they were on line.

so for example +ban 61.25.52.10 get lost faker

and the IP address will be banned
