Hi guys! My internet speed is 10 Mbits download and 3 Mbits upload. Is the upload speed importand for hosting a hub or the download speed? I want to run a hub.I wonder how many users can be able to join my server ?
Both are important.
MMMM mutor doesn't the RAM count?

Yes, also RAM and CPU speed are important... 512 MB RAM I think is the minimum required to host 1000+ users (and it depends also on how many apps are running on the server..)

No, try with Description tag, sharehider and other fabulous tools. :P
Download speed is not much important for hub. Cpu is not big problem today, memory is more important for now but i trying to improve it ::)
Stats from hub running on 1 GHz intel cpu...

Mutor i can't understand your formula...
Give me an example with 2048 Kbps download and 512 Kbps upload speed please.
sqrt is the square root (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square_root).
