From what I remember DDCH is written in VB and can use VBA scripts. So you'd need to convert the lua to VBA.

Rincewind would you know how to convert??!

To be honest I've never tried. I got a copy of DDCH to look at but never looked at it :P

I'll see about having a look over the weekend to see how easy it is to add extra functionality to it and te back to you. I need to get latest DarkClerk and Octavo sorted out first but will then take a look at this for you

I took a quick look at the DDCH forum at lunchtime and, as I thought, the scripts used are in VB.

Its possible to convert them given the time and effort to work out what the hub function calls are. It would largely be a case or writing the script from scratch.

That you need to rewrite the scripts for VB...

You'd in effect take the concept and start again. VB has no tables in the way they are referenced in lua and a lot of the other syntax is different as well.

So u mean to say it is not possible to get my lua scripts converted to VB...i would have to cr8 new scripts...rite???? :'(

In effect yes. There are a lot off differences between VB and Lua. Plus the scripting differences, such as DDCH still having a DataArrival and not the split Arrivals of PtokaX.

I'm sure your scripts could be converted but it would take a lot of work.

PX can easily be added to with scripts and there is a thriving community of scripters right here, whereas the DDCH forum seems much quieter suggesting that there is not as much script development going on.

make the numbers talk,... I think that ynhub may run with less mem but what where and how,...
Give the stats with the same load of users, on the same line, and for the same length of time,.. then lets decide
