Title: Updating the Xmas build 2288 R2R
Post by: smeg568 on 10 January, 2007, 21:54:24
I tried to upddate the Xmas build 2288 R2R and got this message.....

[20:28:12] <[DiXBoT]> *** 6 New Update(s) are available! (DiXBoT DxB07 Build 2300).
[20:28:12] <[DiXBoT]> *** Checking Updated filelist..
[20:28:12] <[DiXBoT]> *** New files were downloaded..
[20:28:12] <[DiXBoT]> *** cannot open DiXBoT/CoreSystem/AutoUpdate/Updates/tNewFolders.lua: No such file or directory

Please post this error on the lua board so that Snooze can fix this!

I got round this error by simply creating a text file called  tNewFolders.txt in the directory the DIXbot is looking for, and renaming it as .lua

Updates seem to work fine after that (it's still running)

OOOPS!!

now it seems to have stopped........

200 PORT command successful.
550 DxB07/Files/Lang: The system cannot find the file specified. ftp> Get DxB07_2300/files/tOpfunc.lua
500 invalid PORT command
150 opening ASCII mode data connection for DxB07_2300/Files/tOpfunc.lua(197 bytes).

It seems to have just got to a certain point and given up the ghost.... please help

the error it reports is

[21:59:26] <ANFIELD-L4> *** ...:\DiXBoT511\scripts\DiXBoT\CoreSystem\AutoUpdate.lua:157: bad argument #1 to 'getn' (table expected, got nil)

TIA

I'm glad that we got it working :)

(This post is mostly a note for me that the issue has been resolved)

Thanks,
