Title: Folder Scanner
Post by: SaNdMaX on 03 June, 2007, 13:55:02
Well i wanted a script for ptokax that would scanner users shares for folders such as WINDOWS, Program Files, Documents and settings. Well u noe windows based folders. IN my hub we have many people who share those folders jus to increase their share and enter the hub ovr the min share limit

And its very painful and agonising to check each users share. I want the script to auto run on startup

Try to use the search: badfile search. There are many version, I wrote one too. Or use what Mutor said, ADL search, in Zion++ there is a same feature (searching bad files), or use Commander (http://users.atw.hu/admiral/Downloads/Commander/Commander_v0.47_ENG.zip)

Maybe one should attempt to write such a script anyways. Even if it strains the hub so far down that it is hardly online, at least we then finally accomplished that OPs become obsolete  ;D That way, we can even remove the profile manager from the hubsofts and there is no longer need for a key for those who don't do anything  8)

Owh, for those who didn't get the irony... It doesn't hurt to do things manually sometimes, that's what OPs are for !

:-)
BTW a well-setup CDM is much more effective than any serverside crap. Try creating a Lua-script that is filetype-aware and does not kick for Kubrick's Lolita.
