hi does someone know how to import ip adresses into
norton personal firewall 2003?
from a textfile or from ptokax?
as it is now im doing the input manually.
it's eating my soul putting in hundreads of adresses
into that idiot firewall
thankfull for any help
merry christmas and a happy new ptokax year :))
maybe this will help..
http://www.bluetack.co.uk/convert.html
just copy and paste the ips in the window
i have never tried it the way you want
but its worth a shot
let me know how it works out
i checked it out..and i must be stupid or something
i can't see any norton firewall on the covert list?
is there any of those that i can use instead?
example convert from peerguardian to sygate..so it works for norton?
i dont know if it will work, but i think the developer is
working on a NIS addition to the converter.
ok i'll wait then..
thanks for the help

there can only be one idiot when using a computer, and that not the comp
actually 3 idiots...
1.the one that made the computer
2.and the one that made the software for it
3.the sucker using it.(that would be me)
;)
yeah i dont like NIS
I thought i would but i dont.
even though i have a 1 yr free subscription with
my new cpu...
i think im gonna uninstall it,...
i think im going to go back
to sygate pro or outpost...both of those are
supported by blutack to import ip ranges.
so i think i would eliminate idiot #2 from the
equation.
