Another, even wilder guess:
It's caused by the poor memory handling in WinXP, try delete your pagefile.sys file, and allow windows to handle the swap file size.

But firts try an clean install, put PtokaX.exe in an empty folder and start it.

open PtokaX.ini in notepad and search for the next line:

StatisticEnabled=1
change that 2:

StatisticEnabled=0
you now have disabled the userstats.

Hi, I am also having the same problem. Where is the pagefile.sys located? or how about the ptokax.ini? I looked in the directory where i extracted and it isnt in there. I have Ptokax: TestDrive4

the ini file is right beside the PtokaX.exe but it's not in the zip.
on the 1st launch it's made automaticly.

for the pagefile, you can make windows automaticly delete it on a shutdown.
the way 2 do it:
start menu --> settings --> controll panel.
administration tools --> local securety policy.
that opens a nice window with loads of settings, some are safe 2 change some can totaly screw up everything if you set them wrong.
so only change if your sure about what your doing, but the pagefile thing can't go wrong.
securety settings --> local policies --> securety options.
in here you see a long list and between it you can find "Clear virtual memory pagefile when system shuts down".
this 1 is disabled by default, you just gotta enable it and after that windows will delete the page file on every shutdown.
