i just thought i'd pop in to say that this latest release is awesome.  i haven't seen any significant bug reports, and it utilizes less resources.  no crashes yet either (i'm guessing that crash i reported earlier was tied in with the newer 17.x code).  keep up the good work.  :D

Found a little something ...

SendToOps(FromNick, Data) - Data without ending | !

When u try and send protocol data, this function doesnt work. I mean, when u dont enter FromNick, Data wont be sent =[

Meaning ...

SendToOps("-cSlave-", "hello") works,

And ...

SendToOps("<-cSlave-> hello") doesnt.

cheers.

indeed that could be a problem, have u tried adding it like this

Code: [Select]
 SendToOps("", hello")

could work until the bug is resolved !
Ignorance is Bliss.

In versions pre 17.x is cpu usage for 9x too, but is cpu usage for all processes (now it show only PtokaX cpu usage) and is very buggy (memory leaks and sometimes cause PtokaX crash) :)

Thats a fair point, I would prefer a stable hub to CPU Performance Stats.
Performance is still VERY impressive, even for Windows 98.
Oh well, looks like I should upgrade my server  ;)

what is the use of texts folder in ptokax ?
is it used for displaying any text file in main chat of hub ?
i mean if u make a file named abc.txt in texts folder ..and write some blablablaa in abc.txt and save..then u type !abc in main chat hub ..then will the contents in abc.txt be displayed in hub main chat ?

Yes. Just check "Enable txt files support" in PtokaX.
Want it in PM, just check "Send text files in PM"
In main type !reloadtxt to load the text files in the \text\ folder.
