i dunno bout u lot but i av had enough of users who cant b banned cos of various dynamic ip ranges n connectin via proxys or wateva......

so... I HAVE A PLAN.... but... i need some script writers who REALLY can write scripts n small pieces of software who would b willin 2 work wit me on this idea....

should we b able 2 pull this off (which i dun see why not)  why could even go 2 the extreme of bannin a user from EVERY hub runnin that ban script.... ;-)  sounds good dont it  :D

you mean something like, a ban share.
Like when one hub bans a IP, its send the banned IP to all other Hubs in the network.
Yepp one needs either a standalone, LUA Socket.
or some other peace of Software.

well ,

ptokax has a buildin webserver so if you provide a copy of the banlist on the web with a standard filename.

and you make a script that reads that file shared by another hub and adds that too their own.

it whould be possible too due such a thing but i won't get real time.

hence my previous post bout bein pissed off with people u cant ban.......

well if its not ip's u cant do it, u cant use hostnames, because alot all have the same hostnames, so by banning one you are banning loads.....
