script for banning host

I am looking for a script that can ban a users host as Irc does when kicking and banning.

this would be ideal in dealing with users on dynamic ip.

for example

.range217-42.btcentralplus.com

check the hostname you posted.
the name is linked 2 the ip.
so pls edit your post and remove the hostname/ip.
and you can't grab the host name for everybody.

I like the method of blocking a Hotname ~= the one you want..   then disconnect

it's fast and easily done..

However, as plop says you can't get a hostname from everybody..

But if you are sure that a certain part allways is available and allways can be retrieved then you could block a whole lot of ranges by 6 lines of code or so

.range217-42.btcentralplus.com

Suppose you only want to allow people from withing this range to enter...

then you must be sure at least 1 part stays the same
".btcentralplus.com"
