I need some urgent help, I have also tried search in this forum for help on this matter but with no luck.

Today I have been bombarded with hits from xDonkey_User & xbwpmk. though they are automatically added to temp ban and the list is growing showing loads of different ip addresses from these two pain i the arses.

Is there a script or can one be made for these to stop hammering the hub and perminently make them disappear and not even appear. Cause it is causing some cpu probs with PtokaX..

Please help I need your savior.

Are these two nicknames staying the same ?

If so,... why not nickban them ?

else maybe you'll find solution with an Anti Hammer script ... I think there is something like that around ..

thanx guys for ur kind help. i spent 4 hours in the early hours of the morning trying to stop this bugger. i could not even add him to perm banas he did not show in hub only on PtokaX so i manully entered name in perm ban list in PtokaX and that did not work properly either.

He seemed to generate in total of 78 ip addresses which drove me crazy but i will try this anti hammering script which u guys advised me on..

changing the port that your hub runs on to something other than 411 may also fix this.

If he is generating a certain range of IPs you could also get an IP range blocker, or just add his range to PG or Protowall, using the Blocklist manager inclusions is the easiest way to go about that.

ever came 2 mind that it might not be 1 single user??

banning the nick should solve it indeed, if not change the port ptokax is running on.
