FTP server help please

hello people

well recently i ve setting up an ftp server in a friends PC

we have fixed everything : login, pass, IPs,everything

i m trying to get in the ftp and everything is fine i can connect normaly.
and now the prob . the problem is that i can t see the files he share ,he is adding some files in his share .all the commands are marked
Read,Write,Delete,Append all so i have all permisions

but i can t see his files and i can t even upload stuff
WTF is going on ???
 can anybody help me ???

Ps. we have tried 2 diffrend ftp servers and it s happeneing the same thing in both of them

You don't share on an FTP, you upload files to an FTP so that others can download from it, make sure that the directory that you want people to upload to is allowed to be written to.

first of all the IP is dynamic =]
so no prob on public ehehehehehheh


well till now i fixed the ftp server and all going great ,i can do everything on the ftp

but there is a prob now,some friends can t fpx =/

i can fxp from seme servers  =]
we tried passive and active but nothing
anway tnx for the help, if you have any tip about this

bpftp is known to be working weird. use ability or visnetic, both are just fine. (ability is easier)
