I have a few questions.

1) can you block users for ever or do they just change username and ip and get straight back in. I have read forums and I see there seems that you cant block MAC is this totally true?

2) I want to know if we can have download restrictions on new users where they can download for like say 4 hours then they get blocked. then they must register to continue. We want this as we have so many new users that need help to register (for some reason they cant read) and we cant be there all day to help. be good if a message could popup with an email address or web address when the time limit is reached.

3) I am still asking for a response bot for a chatroom, Im starting to think that this isnt possible. Can I have an answer on this aswell on can it be done or not.

1) MAC addresses do not transfer past a switch/router.

2) Once a client connects to another client, they can transfer for however long they want. The hub can not control that. You can stop new users from downloading and prompt with a PM to register. This script already exists.

3) Already exists from many different authors.

with the response bot im using a chatroom script which runs a seperate room from main window. I am yet to find one so I was thinking that the chatroom and response bot will have to be written as one script. Im not sure if people understand what Im asking, but I have yet to find this script. I can find bots that respond to things said in the main window.

thanks for answering the other 2 questions, I guess we will never get rid of this person from annoying us unless we change address of hub which we dont want to do.
