One of the reasons with this test is to see how old win ver PX can run on...
And another reason is to see how long one of MS old and unstable Win can be up...

bit hard 2 do, there are 2 many factors which need 2 be reconed with.
for example, firewall and scripts.
but 2 give some examples.
325 users - ptokax 15.18 - amd 1800 - 1.5GB sdram - artificial insanety U.i - 1-3% cpu (5% peak)(ptokax only)
25-30 users - ptokax 0.3.3.0 lua 5.0.2 nov 6 - p3 733 - 512MB sdram - artificial insanety V.b - 0-1.3% cpu (full system).

in the past i asked for some specs 2 compair ai with other scripts.
the only compairsions i have from that is that ai could take 100 more users over the same connection/cpu then mean machine.
and ai used about 1/6 of the cpu of robocop (believe version 6).

it's not much but maby some more folks can post there specs (maby better 2 start a fresh topic for that).

I cant believe it... I  loged in, suddenly somekind of smelly pop-up came from another hub... guess what I did? I closed my DC by accident... grrr... Im so mad at myself.. now Im knocking on madmans door again :(

my firends i have some question to make to you_!!
i ve learned many things in this nice tread =)

well a friend of mine told me that when you run a hub the important in the hole story is the Upload speed

but i have 384Download/128 Upload do you know how many users can i hold with this connection???

and i guess it s better don t share anything or open only 1 slot =/ if i don t want to use my upload speed

the max i ever keep my hub open it was 2days and something if i remeber good,if you leave it more days the memory useage is sooo big_!!
is there any tip to avoid meory useage _(exept of putting scripts out hahhaa)

and something else,i have noticed that in some hubs with slow connected servers if you try get a users list you are gettnig "conection timeout".


if i have 10MbitDownload/800kbs upload how many users can i keep_(this is my current hub server)

thou it's not the thread for this but disable this settings to avoid the MEM usage!



I had a thread for this but couldn't find it.
*btw disabling those settings will keep your PX MEM usage at 10mb alltimes.
Only those little features will make the PX MEM usage climb at 100mb and above.  ?(

if the  small ammount of memory that the strongest of scripts require cause you a problem  then BIN ur computer....... its  really not worth Switcing on............

Use dcdm++ and mySQL. Works fine

there are scripts doing this task, and those don't use a lot of mem.
for example a.i. can store between 12.000 and 14.000 users in 2MB.

Witch is about 12 days....if i calculated right ;p
Gonna kill it for know.. might start it to see how long it works with script... question is what scripts? ;p

Unfortunately we cant run 17.03... It chrashed when someone connect... but it DO start =)
