I got a far better client to check it...

but maybe u can make a check on slotblockers?

as far as i know  a ndmc client don t give a list when slots are all taken  and a dc client they always give a list  even when all slots are taken.

dunno if i t s do-able

or....  make a check on the Lock and PK  with client  thats a way to find those stealth clients

About slotblocker that is a problem too, you can not connect with a script/the hub to a client to check the slot.

haven't checked the $Lock so much but have heard things about it.

And you can not check the PK string in a script.

When I get the time I will rewrite the command & help part, so you can allow/deny your commands and set the level of command yourself, ex:
com   level  descr.
!help|user|show commands

The $Lock and Pk= is generated by the hub,
Client sends as a response a $Key, but none of them are readable, lol!!

No, u must compare them wth the client.


often persons who use those stealth clients  don't set it up right.  so you can detect them.

coz they don t have the proper Lock  or PK  according to the client they claim the use.

So you say we can script it ? In that case how... but I Am a little ?? in this... Don't think it can be done.

Can't be done..

The server sends a $Lock to the client, The client must respond with a $Key
AND

$ValidateNick |

so if you grab the key or the lock, then who's the user to kick?

Client -> Client i think works, (Im not sure about this)
but as soon as you download from someone
the client must send a $Key too.

And Pk= is ignored in most cases

right now I use a detection client

it shows of each user the Lock and PK

i.e.   nmdc users  have this: d@0Be@Lr_z.....................  and as PK: the same weird signs.

DC++ users have this: EXTENDEDPROTOCOLABCABCBACBABCABCABAC  AND AS pk: DCPLUSPLUS0.306ABCABC

someone who isn t setting it up right in his stealth  might have shown  in description: <++V:0.304,M:P,H:1/1/1,S4

but PK says: DCPLUSPLUS0.306ABCABC   so then u know hes using a fake client.

Other example is.  showing DC++tags,  but with a NMDC PK.

That is not untill another client connects to your client. then the client may send $Lock Pk=

Which cannot be controlled from within a lua script.

i've been trying to modify the script a little but not getting anywhere (probably because i have no experience with lua scripting)

i need to make this mod asap.

i would like that non-registered users cannot download off registered users, vips, ops & masters.

right now its only stops them from downloading off ops.

it think i have to change something here:

I know it's me but how do i add albums using the !addalbums command ive tried !addalbums / music and a few more but i keep getting the message "I need to know the catagory to add it to!".

say i wanted to add the album "Elton John - Greatest Hits"  what do i type to do this....

Some Requests:

About deleting userinfo log can you make it delete it after days instead of weeks?

try to make some kind of command to add bad tags in a file....or try to make it more editable to add more DC++ mods in some kind of file

maybe add !rmkick nick  = remove a kicked user from temp ban list  (Brain master script has it)

maybe add !report nick reason   report users for bad share etc...

Sure I can change it into day instead of weeks.
The Tag thing I can look into.
about the remove Kick from Tempban-list that can't be done unless you have your own "tempbanlist" but gonna check Nerbos Brain Master.

just in case someone else has same difficulty heres an example how to add albums

!addalbum music elton john - greatest hits

just change the music to either movie, warez or game depending on what you are adding...
