Ptokax using MySQL database?

Is there any way ptokax could use a MySQL database?  That way you could link a forum to a DC hub.  Maybe a lua script to connect with the DB?  What I'm looking for is more of a web oriented ptokax, with web administration.  Any thoughts?

As far as i've hear it's not possible with the LUA Version we are currently running in PtokaX
LUA 5.x supports it i belive..

I don't see how MyLUA will help PtokaX use MySql :-)

What we have been waiting for an upgrade of Lua from 4.0 to 5.0.2. Then we can load dynamically linked libraries, one of which supports MySql.
