Hub\slots question..

Just a quick question, when i am to decide how many slots per hub, is there a way to have the value less then 1? for example 0,5? I.E 1 slot per 2 hubs connected to?

tried that, but "0.5" didnt seem to work.. just counted as 0 when i tried..
