using netlimiter is just going to lag your hub. owners are best off setting the max users at what their connection can handle, rather than finding new ways of cramming extra users in which are to the cost of the hub funtionality and therefore overall pleasantness of a hub.

i was thinking in something like dont send tags to users...or only if a user request it by a command...or limit a little the backgrund continous search that DC++ do.

you cannot strip $MyINFO through a script. Do not upload with DC++ instead or turn autosearch off.

well, isn't it possible to make a script that does so that when someone refresh the userlist (GetNickList), that everythings in the userlist gets updated except for speed and email. If that  is possible, wouldn't that save bandwidth.

like bast said you cannot stop it.
adding a script to do it would only increase the bw.
