Hi sorry if this has already been asked

 just recently upgraded to robocop8a and run the script for the first time it keeps telling me the following

*** Error missing profiles, Install the provided profiles.dat that can be found in folder scripts/profiles

so I copied the profiles.dat from the td4 dir to the profiles directory and it still gives me the same error message

where exactly do i need tout the profiles.dat file to get it to run correctly

yep true, you just did it totaly wrong man
please close your hub completely.
then copy profiles.dat from your Scripts\profiles\TD4 folder,
and paste it into the folder where Ptokax.exe is located and overwrite the existing file.


if you done this right it wil work.
 have fun with you robocop now man

Hi all
I'm wanting to use the client detector feature on RC8.0a to restrict which clients can come into the hub but all it seems to do is tell people their client is not allowed & disconnects them. Is there anyway to change this message to include info on what client is allowed and where to get it from? I'd rather give them a chance to change their client instead of just disconnecting them

you do have an on off switch for clients allowed in the hub i hope you rembered about that...like odc dc++ that that my mac user can get into my hub with his verion of mac dc witch this robo you have now will not let him in....

Yups that's all there, everything that may be important is done.

- Rewriten 90% of the code, dropped alot of lines more then 40kb
- New GUI-Interface(menu.exe), rewritten from scratch.
- Changed all output tobe send to OpChat or Mainchat (So all messages stay in the same window)
- Fixed little bug in !offline command
- New Settings.ini
- New Intro/Outro voor all profiles
- Some table changes
- New Minversion Checks
- New Client Checks
- New DataArrival
- New UserInfo Code
- Fixed small bug in IPlog
- Blocked Inbuild $kick again, i just hate that 1
- Changed !warn command To 3 warns = Kicked(Tmpban)
- New written Anti-Advertise Check
- !drop command changed to normal kick
- Changed limiter for DCGUI to limiter=limiter*slots
- Fixed small bug in PmToOps
- Made !getpass commando
- Added Pass protection table
- New HubRegisterTag system, now with automatic cutter of tags (Tag=[ADLS])
- Cleaner is now in silentmode - Means no PM popup
- Fixed a bug in Hub count
- zRightClicker.lua needed tobe rebuilded to work with the new version.
- Taghidder can now be set to: ON/OFF
- Corected some spelling errors
- Added Dynamic Redirecter works with a table, can be set to amount of time or amount of enterd users
- Changed alot of functions for better performence of the script. It's to much to declair
- Fixed problem with user with same name like Hub Bot
- Changed !online command TO online - Sets a online check to a selected user or ip
- Added protection against illegal characters in passwords. (to prevent having bugs in RegisteredUsers.dat)
- Added logsystem for Register Functions. Also with a command called !showreglog
- Added Bot Email & Description
- Added tag RCvx.x to description in HubList
- Inbuild-Kick can be enabled but there is no support for it like (kickcounter, logs, etc) Default is OFF
- Added SupportTxt (email, webpage, etc) to almost all output (minshare, maxshare, slots, hubs, etc, !kick, !ban, !kill, !warn, !nameban, etc)
- Also a switch to disable it
- Command !report is temporery disabled. Needed for protection against hubflooders. I need to change some i do that a other time!

The main thing is that the code is cleaned alot, the performence is much better, less lag while running the script, it's smaller, more efficient, buffers reduced more then 50%

It's now become a good basis for the future to put in more stuff. I still have more plans and requests on my list.

As far as i know there's no ProtaX's HUB
That doesn't use the RoboCop...

So, why to use so many Scripts?
Can't u build your own HUB software?
that has the RoboCop feature Build in...
Though i don't imagine how hurd is it to build
but i imagine you might pull this off

Yhea well it's a big stepp, and for what i know i need to swicth language i now use VB6.0 for the EXE file. Cause we think you don't need c++ for a simple GUI.

But for a hubsoft we need to switch language to c++ that is. And that is easyer sayd then done. I have to learn all over again. It will take aloooong time before i get the product as far as RoboCop is now.

Help Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Someone or something is killing our hub, no matter what computer or connection we put it on the hub starts with numerous random disconnects, then ends up dieing. Do anyone have any idea what this could be?
