first thing start using ptokax 0.330 build 15.25 an put the apropriate profiles.dat in the root of your hub, that should solve a lot of your probs.
second show us e few of the messages you get, that could also help a lot to solve some or all of your probs

The database cleaner is started, searching for users that can be deleted!

Checking for a FakeShare or what?

it just cleans up you ban list once in a whyle.
you can just close that screen and ignore it.

I think it's some kind of hub destroyer, so use Plop's
deflood script that protect your hub against those.

Suggest you Change the PORT
You using!

Because the Default HUB Port is = 411
And it's OPENed for any type of maliciousness usage
any other port will not be seen!

Of course if you use the proper Firewall...

Yups using Port:411 is bad. All donkeys connect to port:411

So change it to Port:4111 <--- Example or something else.

Thanks guys for all the replies, I have changed the port of the hub and we are now using plop's deflooder script, as well Protowall protecting the hub. Thanks again for the help.

I also prefer Protowall.
See also the Blocklistmanager to create ip-blocklist for protowall. Think it's a good one

Ok, "PLEASE" I need help with the RoboCop v8.0b.exe. Can't get it to work, I get the "Run-time error '76' path not found" message. I've unpacked the archive of the script into the ptokax scripts folder and installed the library files. I've copied the correct profiles.dat from the profiles folder to the Ptokax folder. I installed a fresh copy of Ptokax 0.3.3.0 build 15.25.  I can change and save the settings on the main RC window but if I click on any other button like settings, checks etc, i get the error. Any Ideas?

Don't worry when ProtaX Registers your HUB
It Registers the Port also...

BUT if you redirect someone specify
the correct port with the address...

with RoboCop v8.0b

And it works fine...
