Hello there!Just wanted to start with to thank you guys for all the good scripts around for the PtokaX hub!

I have serched around the forum and internet after these 3 things/futures i would like to have in my hub ptokax 0.3.3.21 lua 5

1#[B/]Is there any way to do a link to open itself if i klick on the text like a link in explorer?I want the link to open explorer if i klick on it in example MOTD

2#[B/]This thing might be a smaler issue,For an example-If i copy an ascii character like a flower or something it always looks messed up if i implement it in the hub like in the MOTD,I notice that if i change from Arial to curiernew(Font) it looks okay but not in the hub ?is there a easy fix for this or am i just stupid and do this in a wrong way?

Hideshare[B/] ,I want to be able as a Master/OP/VIP to hide my share in the hub,i know that i could remove my share completly but then there is a problem,Im in other hubs with thesame client so thats not a good way.Is there any script around that allows me to hide my share?Or is there anyone in here who can help me with such a script?

Is there a script which has the future to set diffrent share for diffrent profiles?What i want is that if people register themself in my hab they will get something (In this case share 1gb less for an example) The rest like Vip,s - Op,s - Master,s dont have to share or if i find a script (may hide their share)

Your client should support this.

Try DC++ builtin Notepad.

So far nobody could explain why this is useful. What is the reason to hide your share in a P2P network?

Well first ,I dont think this is a client problem!? i have tried diffrent versions of DC++/Dcdm++ and non of them can open that link.I have seen links in other hubs that i can klick on so im sure its not my client

i have put a link eg:http://www.testtest.com in my Motd.txt but its as black as the rest of the text and not a link :(

maybe i have to convert the Motd to a html file with the href="http://www.testtest.com tag in it,is that posseble?

Becuse its just plain black boring text in any client i tried

To the next thing,You say noone could explain why they need such a script id say i can in meny ways

1st.The owner of the hub often has the hub on his connection,if i share and have lets say 6 slots open for uploads i think the hub would be pretty slow

2.If someone offer his connection to set up an hub it shuld be on his rules ? Its free to leave if the hub su..cks just becuse the owner doesnt share?

3. Ynhub has that future and everyone "owner" "op" uses it,Sometimes not,its up to the owner of the hub i think?

4.The owner of the hub is in a less good position if any kind of law enforcement agency enter the hub,The first thing i think they looking for is if the owner breaks the law "Share" ? stuff ,So they can close the hub or whatever(just something i have been thinking of lately)

This is just a future that i really want,to control my own share in my hub?whats bad with that?

Cant figure out why you are against it?I mean i dont expect any hub owners to share more then bandwitch <<

Something i forgott to say is that PtokaX is the best hubsoft i have tried so far!Damn good job!

And lots of scripts around which makes it very atractive!

Cant get everything but with this script it kicks all other hubsoft..

Anyway im not going to ask you guys to do something you not belive in!I bet other has asked for this future before me so if some scripter had liked the idea it would be availible by now

Limit your transfers or use another client.

Yes, but the owner should be an example for others.

Shame on them they added this, it's against the whole DC spirit.

Use a download blocker for unregs instead, much more acceptable. And believe me, running a hub server is legal, you share things like any other user. What if you get busted on another hub? Use PeerGuardian...

If your share is hidden, it eats bandwidth too, since the MYINFO strings have to be re-parsed. I will never agree with this, but let's see others' opinions.

It is your client, DC++ not change color or underline URL and open url with double click This have nothing to do with hub, and hub is not able to make any text as url... this is client work.

In Client Setting->Sharing->Select share what you want to not share and click remove, you already have control of your share

Well the whole point with this script is that i want to be in other hubs at thesame time

Can i enter a hub with no share? No

anyway it seems like everyone in here is against such a script and everyone just say -->settings-->remove the share and thats just lame,i have no control over my share if i want to be in other hubs at thesame time

if i could i would do it myself but im not a programmer im an 3D artist,if someone need help with 3ds max i help the guy if i can

sounds more like the script cant be done with ptokax and the lua language?Ynhub is pretty good but not as good as ptokax im afraid.Is there any other places i can seach for this script?And what does that matter to you guys if i use such a script?Dont see the problem at all with that?Anyway i want to thank you for the help so far!!

I think if you don't share in your own hub, then your slots will be maxed out somewhere else, as you are there again where you would be if you didn't hide your share. It's better if the members of your hub can upload from you rather than some folks in another hub.

you mean the notepad inside DC client? It doesnt work :(

Most ascii art seems to be written with Curiernew(font) and the hub/client runs with Arial

is there any site that only uses the arial font out there?I have been seaching for hours now

or if there is a good acsii generator.

As i say before, you have full control of your share in client. If you don't understand then you are really lamer Here is nothing needed to change on hub side and btw Direct Connect is P2P network -> share or die !

Well we have a diffrent perspective :)

Anyway i dont want to take this to the edge coz it doesnt matter what i say or what i want to use it to.

Is it becuse its for the ptoka hub or is it in general?I have no problem if the owner doesnt share,He share the hub and bandwith thats usually enough for me

Found this script and is there anyone who can explain what it does?I mean i see that the name of the bot is hide-share but i cant find any commands for this bot?

Is this a bot that hide my share as a hubowner or does it hide everybodys share?cant see any premission tags like operators or Master

or does this script hide the whole user?
