Can anyone help!!!! I need a script to stop people using the same name as someone else and using someone elses ip. I have had a few complaints about users coming in my network hubs using the ssame name as an op and using another ops ip.
Is there any script that can stop this.

wel 1st of all he definatly whill be back, just he's straigth 2 the point.
is users get in with excatly the same nick as your ops and with key, it simple means they know the password.
so indeed your op's need 2 use more complex passwords.
if it are names like but not excatly the same you can either reg those names yourself, then only you knows the pw so they can't use them.
if there are more ways the name looks the same you can search for a script witch kicks search bot's.
just insert the op's names into that script.
but for that i have 2 say, or your op's use very much used names witch makes it more likely some1 else with about the same name enters (no offence but not every1 has lots of creativety).
for the ip's you can either use a script witch checks if the ip in the settings from there client is actualy there own ip.
if that is there own ip (witch can happen as some isp's put more then 1 user on a ip, just like many cable/dsl users, those ip's have a router 2 (they all have but thats another story, won't bore you with that)) your users shouldn't complain 2 you but there isp.

posting a your hub url in someothers hub is indeed lame, but here it's excepted.
most of the ppl here are hub owners, now they won't visit you (sorry 2 say but they all think they have a better hub then you. lol).
BUT if you have a problem witch somehow can't be solved here, for example you get and error and whe don't, it's really handy if you place that url so we can check immediatly.
