Finished Scripts / Re: Hub Share Distributon Graph Script Lua 5.X

@the-master
Hence the pacifier emoticon in my original post  :lol:
I've corrected it by initialising the ShareSizes every time it is called. Considering the fact that I knew nothing about Lua about 3-4 months ago, this is like a milestone for me. Any other changes that you'd like in the script, do notify me!  :D
I know quite a bit about c++ and now python too, but Lua looks like an alien to me. Will now learn about file handling so that I can make more interesting scripts!

lol, you forgot to set users to 0 somewhere.., every time graph is called it shows more users  ;)
         ShareSizes[1] = ShareSizes[1] + 1
ShareSizes[1] to [11] needs reset before counting.

Finished Scripts / Hub Share Distributon Graph Script Lua 5.X

My first script :passifier:, there might be some untested errors.  :spike:
In short, this script categorises hub users into share size groups and then displays a horizontal bar graph. Default share size groups can be modified and correspondingly you'd need to change the logical if-elseif block inside the graphbuilder function. Each "-" in the bar graph corresponds to 1 user. You can also change the reply type option by changing tSettings.bPmOnly .

Request for scripts / Memory Usage Script
« Last post by nEgativE on 05 March, 2016, 19:44:39 »
Hi there, is there a way to get all scripts memory usage ? like having all scripts getting usage info, dumping in txt file and another script getting that collected info on memory. thx in advance

PS: api 1

Basically I want to create a script where when the user types !sharegraph , the following things should happen:
  • Get the online users share size using Core.GetUserData and iShareSize and store it in an array
  • Create another array called size_count which will contain the count of share size of each user according to size category
  • Size categories will be: 0GB-200GB,200GB-400GB,400GB-600GB,600GB-800GB,800GB-1000GB,1000GB+
  • Run a comparison loop and update size_count array
  • Print on main hub chat the size by printing "*" for each user
[li]If a category has more than 50 users, it will print "+" at the end of 30 "*"
[/li][/list]
So lets say if the hub has 10 users where 2 users have less than 200GB , 4 users have 400-600GB and the rest have 1000GB+ , the output should be:
0GB-200GB:      **
200GB-400GB:
400GB-600GB:  ****
600GB-800GB:
800GB-1000GB:
1000GB+:         ****
Can someone please help me out?

Support / Re: Editing registered users database
« Last post by PPK on 26 February, 2016, 06:44:45 »
Simple way is one line script:
Code: Lua
  1. RegMan.ChangeReg(sNick, sPass, iProfileNumber)
For example:
Code: Lua
  1. RegMan.ChangeReg("PPK", "MyNewPassword", 2)

Help with scripts / Re: freshstuff start failed

2.
package.cpath=Core.GetPtokaXPath().."scripts/freshstuff/libnew/?.dll"
with
package.cpath=Core.GetPtokaXPath().."scripts/freshstuff/libnew/?.so"
Or better solution. Remove package.cpath from that script and then it will use lua libraries from paths set on os ;) Script should not change paths, because then it is "Defective by Design" ...
