Good day. Is it possible to install PtokaX on CentOS 7 Lua 5.2 (5.3) with database support? Have any of you tried this? Do you need any additional actions or is there such an option in the script? There is no exact guide to the PtokaX Wiki

Did you ever try !help from inside the hubsoft? my bet is NO.

I would love to ditch Robocop but I found the new version very complicated and missing some elements needed to setup a hub, for example, where does one add a user or create one and see all users, I could not locate that in the latest GUI version of Ptokax, is there a guide to download a step-by-step guide to creating a new hub with the latest Ptokax? unfortunately the website lacks this which is crucial to any user.

but this is exactly what dynamic update clients are for. you get a blah.zapto.org address that is always bound to the IP the computer "gets" on the network
then you and your fellow hubbers use blah.zapto.org as the address
this should even work with nonroutable (that is, 192.168.x.x and 10.x.x.x) IP addresses
check out noip.com (free option available) or another dynamic dns hosting site

Why to an IP? use an address instead, can be assigned to the changed IP and done.

How does one assign an IP to an address locally? I know that one can add IP and its hostname in the hosts file, but since the IP keeps changing frequently I don't want to edit again and again. Is there any way of automating the process, i.e., hostname always redirects to my local IP?
