If somethin like that was to be done then would'nt it kick users that have filmes with the same title's ....such as XxX & Not another teen movie  ect .....

i have been searching today again, on xxx and havnt found anything as yet that isnt porn based. and if the odd user did have a file of such a name as triple x maybe.
they wouldnt be kicked or banned, just no entry until they removed.

my thoughts on it anyway lol

Im confused. Are you suggesting that RC should automatically ban anyone who shares any form of porn? If so surely what people are allowed to share in a hub is down to the hub owner. My guess is that a lot of hubs would not be able to use RC for the purpose it was intended if you went down this road. And where do you stop what other kind of files would you add to the list.
RC for me is about security not censorship. Its down to individual owners to decide what is acceptable in their hub and there are other tools available to help you minitor that.

this is perhaps not a bug, but it is something that has changed from robo 9.0g

I have set a reg tag for my vips, and in robo 9.0g there was some sort of check that prevented the tag to get double, but now it is getting double...

on old I could reg a vip as [VIP]nick and it would still get right, even with reg tag for vip set to [VIP]

when I do the same now it gets [VIP][VIP]nick

it was this way in earlier robocop as well, dunno in witch of the version it changed to check and prevent double reg tag in nick, but I know that in the 9.0g it didnt get double.

I prefere to have it the way that it dont matter if the reg tag is included when doin !regvip, it still only get one [VIP] in the regged nick, is this possible to get back?

It happens when he closes RoboCop
but only when he has opened it through his network...
when we open and closes RoboCop on the server we dont get any eror...
is it his computer that is weird? or is it a little bug?

This is done because it takes more bandwidth if info is send to all none-regged connecting users

It is possible to make switch for each profile to enable/disable

Profilenumbers or profilenames can not be changed it causes al kind of problems. this is a known problem with all script packages

Have u disabled the "Enable register tag/prefix" in the Robocop 10.x GUI for the profiles u don't want to have that prefix when registering? (In this case, the VIP profile)

hi Optimus / Others,

I am not 100% sure this is connected to the robocop script, but this problem only started when I switched to RC.

One of my Op's has the User name "jalle", this is the case which was used for his registration and the one which shows up in the user list and any logs. However in main chat / PM / etc.. his name shows up as "Jalle".

This is not the main problem but may be related to the real problem which is that many people in the hub cannot connect to Jalle at all.

I know it is not a client / connection issue as i can connect to him in other hubs, just not my own, lol

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Untick "Enable register tag/prefix" in the Robocop 10.x GUI for all the existing profiles.

Thing is I want VIP to have reg tag, only profile that should have it. I have it set so ops can reg and it still ends up right, even if they didnt know what tag they should use...

But there are always ops that check already regged to see how a vip should be regged so they do it !regvip [VIP]nick and result ends up as [VIP][VIP]nick

On previous version I could have reg tag enabled for vip and even if an op did !regvip [VIP] nick it still got the same result as if they would have done !regvip nick

The result in both cases was [VIP]nick in 9.0g no matter if it was done: !regvip nick or !regvip [VIP]nick

This is the way I wanted to get back... to be sure all vips get one and only one tag

I enabled the [VIP] tag/prefix in the VIP profile, and tried to register a nick just like u said: "!regvip nick pass" and "!regvip [VIP]nick pass".
In both of them, i got this nick: "[VIP]nick".
That's really strange, because i never got a "[VIP][VIP]nick".

Have u changed in Robocops v10.x's GUI, the client minversion (DC++, NMDC2 and Valknut) and in each profile tick/untick "Check client minversion"?

About the autokicking No Tags, Robocop does't
like clients without tag. Check some early posts regarding that issue.

Read the words that i say. hehe ;)  No tag and dc++ less than 0.3 are some of the things my client detects via myinfo and autokicks.  Tagless clients shoudn''t be getting in fullstop,  amd DC++ min version in robocop is 0.401.  e.g.
