Quote( + ) Tested the !warn command, 3 warns only disconnects and doesn't place the user into temp ban! They can come back in straight away...

( + ) If I change the name for Op-Chat in Ptoka, robo still sends the Pm-To-Ops message to the old name :S
* The first question i have changed now Thanks

* Pm-To-Ops hum hum, mmm That 1 can be changed in robocop.exe on the main page. or do you mean something else. hehe

* First point: I have done a fresh install of Robo 9.0c, one of our autokickers warns peeps each time they have forbidden files and we've noticed that after 3 warns they get kicked, but they are not added to temp ban! I also tested this myself manually by warning a user 3 times but they only got disconnected. Something is still not right :S

* Second point: If you change the name of OP-Chat in Ptoka to Chill-Room (for example) then when a user uses Pm-To-OPs, the message pops up from OP-Chat tab and not from the new name, Chill-Room. Makes sense?

Optimus

Second point:
PmToOps bot is not set in Ptokax only Opchat, so your example doesn't make sense lOOlll

Reefa

No, you don't seem to understand...

Maybe we're getting our wires crossed  :P

[Example 1]
In Ptokax, OPChat bot is named -=Op-Chat=-
User comes into hub, sends PM to PmToOps, the message appears to all OPs in -=Op-Chat=- tab, perfect.

[Example 2]
In Ptokax, OPChat bot is named -=Op-Lounge=-
User comes into hub, sends PM to PmToOps, the message appears to all OPs in -=OP-Chat=- tab, not in -=Op-Lounge=- tab as it should be.

I hope that makes more sense.

Can we get some more feedback from others about the !warn issue? I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem and Opti is chosing to ignore it!

He does not!

He has fixed it and it will be fixed in 9d.. as well as my StrongDC++ problem....
We suffer in silence, we lurk in the shadows, we kill in the night
Site currently down, ETA of returning online is 2099 ;p

Reefa

My bad, I thought Opti meant he'd changed it in 9.0c and wasn't going to look at it again  ;)  Sorry, misunderstanding!

The second part still stands tho ^_^

Optimus

Means indeed that i have changed it instead of ignoring you. hehe

I'm trying to answer all posts offcourse but on the other hand? I like to see that you all help another out with questions so sometimes i do not answer everything. There are enough users that know robocop verry well.

I get back on it tomorow.

Evo

Hi

I am very sorry if this has been brought up before, this is a huge thread.

I run a very small hub where it is set that only registered users can download but when I use TD4 and robocop (setting robocop to allow self registered users) the command they type in mainchat is visable for all to see, is there a way round this (so the password isn't sent to everyone)?

I am not sure if that was very clear so here's an example.

X will enter my hub be told he has to register before he begins downloading from anyone. X will then type !REGME PASSWORD in main chat. The problem is that this is visible to everyone.

Is my configuration just naff?  :P

Thanks for any advice and once again I apologise if this has been brought up before.

- Evo.

DEEP-GOA

nope.. is not visible to everyone.. ur config is ok

Put any term or title on me you want. What I am is what I do. I make things.

Optimus

in a older version of robocop there could be that fauld that show !regme in mainchat.

If you use the latest version, then the only problem i could think of is Ptokax TD4.99 it's shows commands in mainchat it doesn't block them.

Evo

Ah that was it.  :O

I just checked the version of Ptokax that robocop was running on and it was 4.99, my existing hub is running 4

  I'm such a dumbass.

Thanks for your help, working very well now. Great script.

Optimus

It seems this version is quit stable/bug free or what ever we gone call it. (nok nok on the table, hehe)

maybe next week 1 of the last updates on this version.

This is Changelog so far!?!

- Fixed little bug with StrongDc++ client
- Fixed negative minsharesize
- Fixed $RevConnectToMe in !watch command
- Tweaked MyInfo Check abit more
- Changed OnConnectUser function
- command !warn now temp bans after x times instead of disconnect

Optimus

Also experimenting with a new style Anti Advertising check. This 1 checks for the part in the middle of a url..

Example:

testhub.no-ip.com
middle = no-ip

if no-ip is on the list/table then disconnect user

so that means you don't have to put  no-ip.com, no-ip.biz, no-ip.info, no-ip.org, no-ip.net on the list

just put in no-ip and it will catch them all. it also checks for spaces, dot, and some more stuff

Feedback wanted?

night_hawk

how will this affect on advertising for adresses like optimus.nl etc
Somewhere in Cyberspace

Kwartje

think such things u can put in save addies...for i.e. .nl or even better, full domain names...

Optimus, does this also eman that we can finally add (think this was already possible in RC8) things like no_ip_com wid underscore instead of dots, cause thaz one of the ways ppl try to advertise in our hub...or even out a word in bad addies...like imhubz.

MAybe also an option for RC X, putting in customisable ban/kick msgs ( i know u cabn put in ur own reason, but the msgs are still standard)...

and last request is perhaps an improved word scanner, wich also kicks for certain words and aslo recognises partial words (pto filter only recognises exact words and only replaces not kick etc,....)

great idea :)
as we are speaking about rc X, it will be also great a command to set an user blocked (block his downloads), maybe already in the list, don't remember..

uffetjur

theres an option where u can set that only regged users can download

Yes i know, but i mean a command to set 1 user as blocked, not only non regged, i pick a user, right click, and block his downloads. (block/unblock)

Hiya Opti

Robo keeps getting better  :))  but there's still one thing it don't do for me. My hub runs a 1 slot per 5 hubs slot ratio and there's no way to police this with robo. Any chance of building this in at some time? or is there a way to do it that i don't know about.

Cheers
