hi all, not sure if its a prob with robo, but since running robo v9 my search doesnt work right, i av to keep swapping from active to passive and its a pain, passive to search and active to d/l , any ideas any1??

Can you be more specific about your client?
maybe you haven't specified the search IP and port if you use something like dcdm, or UDP or TCP haven't been correctly specified..

i am using dc++0.401 , running ptokax 0.3.2.6td4 with robo v9c........i starting running hub about 2 months ago with robo v9a all worked fine.......but wen i upgraded 2 robo v9c   my search stopped working on active.....

Have you checked your nat table in your router/modem?
or have you installed SP2 lately?
Problem could be that the windows firewall has been activated.....
mostly if you can't search your port settings aren't correctly configured

some people has dns like this blackwings.com, then the check you describe wont work on that. And could you add som rc also check for other signs than "." in the adress, because some advertiser tends to put other signs than "."

I have a huge problem with rc 9.0c, when I start the rc .exe, I get this messages =

1st window:
Windows Installer

   Preparing to Install...

2nd window:
This MSI must be launched through setup
   Setup
(on this window you can push the button OK)

And when you push OK, these windows keeps coming back for like 10-20 times >_<. My guess is that RC stops getting these messages when the exe has fully started or something like that :P

Dunno really, the same thing happens with the security bot Chibi-Chibi BETA 0.110 :P

Maybe it's a visual basic thingie or the thing that RC tries to do with the .dll files in the RC folder, but hmm, chibi chibi doesn't have .dll files :S

(optimus updated the rc 9.0c once after the first release)

In response to the above a friend of mine who is just starting out with LUA has written a stand alone script for this but it don't seem to work all the time when robo 9b is working too.Seems to work ok without robo. The disconnect works fine but the message that should be sent to the user does not always get sent. Can anyone with a bit more knowledge of LUA take a look and see where it's going wrong or conflicting with robo9 (especially Opti :-) )

I am almost sure this has been posted in this thread before but this is such a big thread I hope people don't mind me asking again.  ?(

Users keep connecting with -6890736b share's (That number was random, but the share is always negative). Is this to do with robocop? If so what does this represent and should my OPs continue to kick them?

Yes, it has to do with RoboCop, but that should be fixed in the update of RC 9.0c that Optimus released on the 26th Novemeber

EDIT: or download RC 9.0d now

Nice idea, i'm trying to do the same thing, i want to use another profile than OP or Vip, but with robocop i don't think it's possible, maybe future releases, or if there is a way pleeese tell me.. :))

- Fixed $RevConnectToMe in !watch command
- Watcher output changed abit maybe looks beter
- Tweaked MyInfo Check abit more
- Removed Double Tag check
- Changed OnConnectUser function (needs some testing)
- command !warn now temp bans after x times instead of disconnect
- Changed MyInfo and Tag checking for even more performance (now works the way i wanted)
- Fixed small error in client detection
- some small changes here and there

If i need to reinstall, is there a way to just install some files so all my changings made in the other rc9.0d still remain?
