Ok ic what you mean verry good example. I can remove it but even better is to make a piece of code that will kick them for command spoofing/flooding.

In the last case it works for all commands so !report can be put back again also.

Got an Error:

And when opening the RoboCop.exe i get the next error:
"run-time error '55': file already open"

Yups all your table files (most of them) are empty or corrupt. Duno why that happend sorry

All i did is Upgraded from v9.0d to v9.0e by replacing the *.lua and the *.exe files...

PX v0.330 (15.25) on Win2000 SP4...

Maybe there's some Files missing?

hmm, no line info in the error message :P anyway, error messages with these wierd signs (which has those signs because the files are compiled) usually comes when you have edited the compiled lua files. Have you edited any of the lua files? Because if you do, they will get corrupted!

And the craziest thing is. It's working anyway.
The bot appears and the messagens that i prepared in robocop, but when i load it in ptokax i get this message. I don't understand the point. And i already tried a new installation, but it didn't work. Sorry for bothering ;)

If you by load mean, that you press the load button in ptokax.... You shoulnt do that... =)
Just Unzip everything to Ptokax\script
And to change the settings, use robocop.exe

Hey i think i found a problem, or its intentional (I don't know).

I'm using PtokaX 15.25 with tag check disabled (in profile manager) for registered users. The reason for this is so i can allow registered NMDC v1 (Mac users) to login, while blocking the rest of the cheaters.

In order to get this to work when i was using Robo 6.0 i had to disable some scripted checks.

But now i have upgraded to 9.0c and then 9.0e and its no longer possible for NMDC users to login. I have all client checks disabled in Robocop for regged users so what is the problem?


If i try to login with NMDC as a registered user i get this:
You are disconnected for hidding or having a corrupt MyInfo Tag, please download a regular DCPlusPlus client at http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net

The script is performing a check that it should not be?

I don't know what i did wrong but the settings in the Robocop console suggest that i should be able to login with NMDC v1 as a regged user. "Enable Client/Min version check for registered users" is not ticked!

If this is a bug, please fix!

Yikes, the only way i could get to login with nmdc v1 is by giving regged users the ability to kick... is there something else i can do?

Robocop only seems to be able to disable the check for users with the OP power.

All clients without a tag are not longer allowed. They should upgrade to the newer NMDCv2 client. And enable there tag

What about the mac users? I currently have a string of regged mac users and they can no longer login since i upgraded the script.

I know this because they are loyal followers of my hub and i recieve emails from them.

Any chance of making the adjustment so the hub owner can reserve the choice for regged users? -> Its possible to disable all other things so why not this?

As Optimus has rightly said before, this is a secutiry script.  Allowing users without a Tag is a massive whole in it.

What causes the crash ?
I used to use debug 0.3.3.0 debug 15.25, now using 15.30 (but thinging about going back to 15.25, as i can't get !userinfo working on it).  Never had a problem with robocop with either version.

(excluding the MLD clients which broke everything, but are now sorted by a dedicated script, thanks Blackwings).

Yups it's !addclient that's the 1 you can configure.

As usual its impossible to put your point of view across here without people thinking the world will cave in and every hub will be hacked for making such a tiny change. Probably why my visits here have been very few and far between, some of you people seem almost frozen in your oppinions like you are reading them out of some kind of rule book.

Anyway i think your script is the greatest bar this small discrepancy.

and... you speaks as ur hub was never be flooded/hacked..ur only a lucky guy, it's only a matter of time...
there are some funny guys that flood/hack ur hub just for fun; I hadn't do nothing to no one, but I found my hub flooded/hacked many times..so I need something to defend my hub from this..so immature and so stupid behavior, of a child....(yes..a child..because a stupid 14th child which flood ur hub..), there come in Robocop, a security script...and allow noTag in a security will be a great security hole..no matter if registered or not..
(how u can assure that every registered users is who he is when it's connects to ur hub...and that's not the only reason..)
