thats an interesting idea but, im not so sure the owner of a hub would accept the removal of his rights, either way it could be an interesting idea for ops and below that

but if an owner was not present in his own hub for 4 weeks surely the hub wouldnt be a viable one!
one other issue you might have overlooked is that ptokax would need to be integrated further with robocop to allow the script access to delete or d,grade users profiles on a timer basis.

I believe the function was written because some people just reg themselves and never come back :S
Maybe make it more configurable, so that one can set which profiles to clean...

its not really that hard, robocop is already integrated to quite an extent with ptokax, and plus u can already do that manually, its just a matter of adjusting it to do automatically,

i agree with u if some vips arent in the hubs then they dont deserve the priviledge, unless they inform the ops before they become absent , it could be integrated in robocop, if optimus feels like its a good option :),

PS. Optimus said he would be absent from the board for at least 4 weeks, so u'll just have to wait and see !

i personally think it is quite a good idea to have some function like this. as i have far too many peeps reg then  never return, and this only slows the server down each time on it checking passes against set nikks.

hope opti's house moving has gone well......wonder if we will get an invite to a house warming heheh

Thank you all to talk about this idea.
But I think this is a challenge for the Hub Owners and for the Users
But only Optimus can decide that, if he wants to add this options  on RoboCop

Whatever will be the choice please leave the possibility of using current method, I don't like much SilvaO's idea.
Operators/masters/founders are used to be persons that known well the hub and it's configuration or functionality. They are not the first user that enter the hub and became op after 2 days..they are choosed ones, and this kind of person doesn't disappear after 2 or 3 week/days, except for vacation or trouble (telling to the others..), if you have this problem with your operators, maybe it's time to do an appropriate selection of them.

silvao it is a fairly good idea for regged  users i think, as too many reg to get there files then never return. that slows the hub server down. regarding all the other profiles upwards, they are in place as trusted members of the hub or network team.

Hi all, I installed RC10e  with ptokax 3.3.0

somehow the botname does not show anymore in the list, also I activated VIPchat  but also that isn;t showing in the list. Other problem is in settings I selected the option download from  users only for users  regs from users and regs and vips, and vips from all.

seems not to be working.

is it because i do something wrong?

Sounds like robocop script hassnt been installed correctly or there are files missing ... Try downloading a fresh copy and do a fresh install

make sure robocop and the hub server are named identical on ops chat and on vip chat.....thats first thing.
next is make sure on hub server that vip chat and opchat is allowed in profiles on each profile you want to have access to it.
try that first if no good then it may be a re-install of server and robocop.

Hello, i wanna know if there is any chance to create another profile. i want to create a new profile called VIP++ . this profile has the same permissions os the VIP profile, but the user has no share/slots control, cause i have a minimum share to VIP's. I tried to Create this profile in the moderator profile. It works fine, but when i change the name to VIP++ it appears in the hub :

*** Error profile Moderator corrupt or missing! Install the provided Profiles.xml that can be found in folder: scripts/profiles!

But it works fine anyway :) the only problem is this chat message that appears all the time, cause the permissions and the profile commands are right :)

as moderator or netfounder cos profiles are like this:
Master = 0
Op = 1
VIP = 2
Reg = 3
Moderator = 4
NetFounder = 5

as you can see, your profile seems to be smaller than regs, or anyone in profiles. Do not edit it to suit your needs or RoboCop won't work.
